1 lb. ground beef or sausage
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies
32 oz. chicken broth
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 14 oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup yellow or white onion, chopped
3/4 cup Ditalini/salad pasta
1 T. Thyme
Brown beef or sausage with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
Combine veggies, broth, tomatoes, beans, onion and thyme in a large pot. Bring to a boil, add pasta and cook until tender. Add ground beef to warm through.
