1/2 cup Butter
2 1/2 cups Raspberries
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Graham Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
3 T. Whipping Cream
Preheat oven to 350* and grease 2 loaf pans. Mix ingredients with a wooden spoon one ingredient at a time. Make sure it is mixed very well before you add the next ingredient into the mix. Scrape into greased loaf pans and bake for one hour. Cool, then remove from pan.
I like to make these the night before and let the cool overnight on the stove top with a towel over it.
P.S. When you add the whipping cream at the end. A Note of caution, It will make you feel like you are at Grandma Egglestons, sitting across from Grandpa Eating Raspberries and Whipping Cream, I would suggest that you do not give in to the urge to taste the batter at this point to see if it tastes as good as you think it smells. :).. Just keep the memory in your head at this point.. :)
