Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 Cup Shortening

1 tsp. Salt

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/2 Cup White Sugar

1 Cup Flour

1 Egg

3 Cups Oatmeal

1/4 Cup Water

1 pkg Chocolate Chips

1 tsp. Vanilla

Mix sugars with shortening. Add egg, water & vanilla. Stir in salt, baking soda, flour & oatmeal until mixed. Add chocolate chips. Bake at 350* for 13 minutes.
